LOS ANGELES, CA: Finding loads ahead of time and setting visibility for existing capacity has always been a problem for trucking companies, especially for smaller fleets. In response to this challenge, Comfreight, announces the launch of a new mobile web application to help trucking companies, owner-operators and carriers to find freight matches. It brings about connectivity to shippers, carriers, truckers and brokers through an online and mobile marketplace.
The application has been re-launched as a web app and removes the need for additional download and installation of software and, expensive load board contracts. With web app tools users can easily find the loads and save them as much time as possible.
Comfreight works from any smartphone, tablet or device with a data connection. It has thousands of users and a continuous growing direct shipper user base to help ensure that empty truck spaces are filled each day.
This app enables carriers and logistics companies using the system to setup customizable alerts for finding the freight on or within the range of specific lanes, specific weight and length of loads within time windows determined by the users. It sends an alert to users if and when the load matches up to their capacity posts in the system.
“Connecting smaller carriers, owner-operators and logistics companies with larger commercial shippers and screened freight broker freight that matches their specific needs is our main goal with the freight matching capabilities of our app,” says Steve Kochan, CEO and Co-Founder of ComFreight.
