The European Union has been progressively implementing stricter emission reporting regulations for the trucking industry. Prominent transportation companies are currently mandated to provide comprehensive reports on the environmental consequences of their operations through emission reporting. Its emission reporting is structured into three key categories: well-to tank emissions, tank-to-wheel emissions, and well-to-wheel emissions.

Emissions are systematically classified into distinct categories based on Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 criteria, ensuring the rigorous assessment of the environmental impact of various sources.

Diffo’s user-friendly platform automatically generates reports tailored to clients’ specific needs, encompassing a range of emission-related insights, including customer, route, vehicle, and driver-specific details. More importantly, these reports seamlessly integrate data on the profitability of transport tasks, offering a comprehensive overview of the environmental and financial aspects of operations.

“We empower clients to effortlessly report emissions for both their vehicles and the vehicles operated by subcontractors. Our data collection process is highly adaptable, seamlessly gathering essential information, regardless of the vehicle’s make or the telematics supplier,” says Pernu. “This is possible due to the interfaces made with OEM telematics such as; Daimler Fleetboard, VolvoConnect and Scania Fleet”
