The growing interest of the sector is reflected in the participation of exhibitors: more than 90% of the companies that participated in the first edition renewed their presence, many of them expanding their spaces. In addition, new international suppliers joined the fair, attracted by the highly qualified profile of the visitors and the real business opportunities generated by the event.
As the fair has grown, successful initiatives such as the Tech Arena, an area for test drives and live demonstrations, and the Innovation Hub, a space for content delivered by exhibitors, have been relocated to additional areas inside and outside the pavilion, creating an even more dynamic space for knowledge exchange and strategic networking.
"The fact that the fair is fully sold out six months before it is held proves the strength and relevance of intralogistics and automation in South America. This reflects a booming market, driven by the search for solutions that optimize logistics operations and increase operational efficiency. Brazil, as the largest economy in the region and gateway to the sector with over 200 million consumers, has a central role in this growth", highlights Cassiano Facchinetti, managing director of INTERLINK Exhibitions, organizer of the fair.
Rising sector and trends
According to Facchinetti, the 2025 edition will bring a significant expansion in the presence of exhibitors specialized in automation and robotics, something he himself witnessed at the LogiMAT fair, which just took place in Germany, and Promat in the USA. This trend follows the global movement towards digitalization and automation of processes, driven by the advance of e-commerce and the search for more efficient and sustainable supply chains.
The growth of intralogistics and automation is a phenomenon that goes beyond South America. In Brazil, the sector is growing at an average rate of 15% per year, according to the Brazilian Automation Association (GS1 Brazil). On a global scale, a study by MordorIntelligence projects that the logistics automation market, currently valued at US$75.24 billion, will grow 9.9% per year until 2029, reaching US$120.63 billion.
"Investing in technology is a competitive advantage in the medium and long term. The presence of large national and international companies at INTRA-LOG Expo demonstrates that the event is consolidating itself as an essential meeting point for innovation in the sector, bringing together cutting-edge solutions for warehouses, material handling and storage", reinforces Facchinetti.
