Redlore To Bring A Wire-Free, High-Accuracy On-Site Positioning Solution

Logistics Tech Outlook | Thursday, April 28, 2022

RedLore has presented a high-resolution version of the Locus Site at MODEX 2022 in Atlanta, GA.

FREMONT, CA: “The world's logistical processes are today stretched to the breaking point," comments RedLore CEO Niek Van Dierdonck. RedLore has come up with a high-resolution version of Locus Site today at MODEX 2022 in Atlanta, GA. Locus Site is a patented solution that enables high-accuracy on-site positioning, or real-time location system (RTLS), to 1/2 feet or 15 centimeters without requiring any wiring throughout the facility.

“Keeping track, in real-time, of the location and condition of assets on-site and during (un)loading provides an immediate improvement in efficiencies. Locus Site offers exactly that at a fraction of the cost and burden of other systems,” adds Niek.

Locus Site's high-resolution capability enables high-accuracy tracking for businesses and facilities where current solutions were prohibitively expensive or impossible to place wires. Due to its wire-free design, a 200,000 square foot facility can be supplied with positioning capability in just one day, saving up to 90 percent on installation costs and time compared to alternative systems.

Locus Site is offered for on-site tracking, whereas Locus Automate is available for touchless distribution operations:

Manufacturers, healthcare providers, construction firms, and logistics companies, among others, use Locus Site to track everything that happens in their facilities without requiring manual intervention.

Distributors and third-party logistics providers utilize Locus Automate to track the (un)loading of assets in trucks, obviating the barcode and RFID scanning requirement. Locus Automate is unusual in that it alerts users in real-time to issues such as loading failures, delivery errors, and damage risk.
