USTC Corp recently announced the appointment of Tom McLaughlin as the President as he can help the company expand across North America. 

FREMONT, CA: USTC Corp, a pioneering one-stop shop for all materials, product design, and value-added distribution of passive and active equipment and tooling for telecommunications, HFC, FTTH, FTTx, wireless, and data center technologies, and supply chain management solutions, has announced the appointment of Tom McLaughlin as the President. Mr. McLaughlin will use his deep industry experience to help USTC Corp grow across North America and manage the development of new solutions and services to assist Service Providers. He will be directly reporting to Cédric Varasteh, the Founder and Chairman of ETC Group, the parent firm of USTC Corp.

McLaughlin started his career in telecommunications at General Instrument and has over 25 years of experience in both fixed and wireless. He rapidly climbed into leadership positions at Motorola, Google, and Arris, leading worldwide sales for cable and telco service providers. He was most recently SVP of Sales at CommScope. “USTC has assembled a top-notch team with extensive global telecommunications expertise, bringing the best practices from many different markets for all the various network technologies, and I’m excited about the opportunity to work with such an entrepreneurial group of people that aspire to solve customer issues and problems that persist in the industry, as well as contribute to the increasing need for connectivity both with consumers and businesses,” said McLaughlin, President, regarding his new role.
