FREMONT, CA: “We started this company to fill a void in the industry and to help small businesses stay in business. Woolpert is a longtime Google partner whose focus is on providing optimal mobility solutions for businesses of all sizes. We had lots of questions, and they had lots of expert guidance. Their support enables us to compete with the big dogs like Amazon and to provide the reliable customer service customers crave," says Trexity CEO and Founder Alok Ahuja. Trexity, a flat-rate local delivery provider, has contracted Woolpert to supply Google Maps Platform services and technical support. These capabilities will benefit Trexity's small- and medium-sized business customers, including Google Maps APIs, Optimization AI, and Google Cloud solutions.

Woolpert adapted its Google solutions to integrate the Directions and Cloud Fleet Routing (CFR) APIs because Trexity was developed to make same-day, local delivery more efficient and cheap. The Directions API enables Trexity to quickly estimate delivery times for single or grouped deliveries by calculating directions and distances between locations. CFR is a feature of AI-based Optimization. It is a scalable technology that generates and displays an efficient delivery route, assisting fleet operators with formulating correct fleetwide routing plans.
Rick Bennett, vice president and director of cloud sales at Woolpert, stated that delivery in 2023 will be focused on the client experience.
“ The landscape has evolved to ensure the client knows where everything is in the delivery process at all times. Providing the ability to save money through efficient routing while ensuring customers can access on-demand ETAs at scale is essential to success,’ says Bennett. We’re able to leverage our mapping and Google services expertise to accelerate clients' implementation into production. The sooner they're up and running, the sooner they can establish their brand and reputation to advance sales.
Alok Ahuja stated that the startup chose Woolpert due to the company's emphasis on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and precise mapping and routing data. Woolpert, a worldwide geospatial company, has been selected as the 2021 Google Cloud Location-Based Services Specialty Partner of the Year.
