PEOPLE has designed sustainable, energy-efficient, and fully recyclable containers—Container2.0. It is uniquely designed with a metallic floor, made out of panels with the same dimensions as a standard container’s wooden floor. As a result, it can be manufactured, shipped and packaged like traditional containers. The metallic floor is cleaner, safer, and naturally hygienic. As such, clients do not require to conduct any added treatment to transport edibles.
The company has also significantly reduced the material used in Container2.0 to achieve the goals of both weight reduction and using the world’s natural resources responsibly. When it comes to the protection of people and cargo in transport as well as the safety of equipment, Container2.0 becomes the prime choice for businesses. With up to 1tn less tare weight, it is synonymous to uncompromising strength and durability. So, clients have the option to gargle more loads on the same containers—than they have traditionally done. According to a recent study by the National Technical University of Athens (2020), the gradual replacement of the existing container fleet by containers based on PEOPLE’s technology worldwide can save 6.6 billion liters of fossil fuel every year, reduce 22.2 trillion of gco2 annually and save 205 million trees.
