The New Jersey-based warehouse management solutions specialist SellerCloud has developed WMS systems for almost ten years now. The company, with its patented methodology, can track inventory across FBA and 3PL warehouses and their customers’ various warehouses. SKUstack can calculate the amount of stock in each warehouse and track the inventory reserved for other transactions that haven't yet shipped. Anytime there is an activity in the warehouse, the solution can reconcile the total stock available for sale and the amount present in the warehouse. The solution is android-based and hence mobile, and can be used by the user to manage their inventory from any part of the world. SKUstack thus presents itself as a disruptive innovation in the world of Warehouse Management Systems and has the capability to revolutionize modern WMS entirely.
Since the WMS can track both the total available inventory and products physically on-the-shelf, an organization can ship products out of the warehouse and still audit its inventory.
For companies facing logistical challenges of automating and systematizing some of their activities, SellerCloud creates an easy-to-use structure to ease their transition. This approach frees up a lot of their time and allows them to focus on expanding their product line and other expansions.
When the organization first implemented its solution, their e-commerce clients needed a system that can verify that the items that were shipped out reconciled against the shipped products that were displayed in the system. Thereby, the clients could not only prevent theft but also keep better track of their inventory. With SellerCloud's new system, customers can both track their stock and market their products, without having to shut down their processes, even for one single day.
Over the next few months, SellerCloud is looking to advance SKUstack and add additional features to it. Some of those features would make the processes of warehouse management more automated and systematic. The enterprise is also looking to expand its list of integrated channels and add features based on its client's feedback. As Jeremy says, “Our user-base's suggestions and feedback are one of the driving forces of our expansion for the future.” Consequently, the company will keep trying to look at different angles to advance its warehouse management platform.
