To employ Shipalytic's software services, clients can sign up online on the company's website. After they request access to the site, a member of the company will discuss the setup process with the client. The shippers can then submit the billing data they receive from the carrier, i.e., the carrier's billing portal. Shipalytics will then set up direct connections from its site to the carrier's billing portal and automatically pull data from the carrier portal whenever an invoice is issued to the shipper. The data is then immediately audited and parsed. The client can then enter the unique username and passwords provided to them and see the visualization of the data accumulated through their invoices. The Shipalytics' dashboard consists of eight unique layouts, called cards. The top four cards are high-level metrics like the number of packages shipped, total cost, surcharge cost, and base transportation cost.
