DOC-EASY© completes the cycle by helping freight forwarders prepare required shipping documents, including ocean bills of lading, IATA airway bills and certificates of origin. Together, the systems are designed to reduce duplicate data entry and move information from procurement to warehousing to freight documentation in one connected process.

PACK-EASY© allows users to track purchase orders by project and individual line item, manage warehouse locations, record material receipts and monitor shipment status through delivery.

The system also supports barcode scanning through tablets, phones and other browser-enabled devices. Customers can log into the related website to view purchase order items, download warehouse pictures and track shipping progress through destination.

A major differentiator is the private cloud environment created by the EASY© systems. Employees and customers can access the system through standard browsers including Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Apple Safari and Mozilla Firefox without installing special software.

Freight forwarders often serve customers that require receiving, shipping and reporting information in different formats. Worldwide Software Systems addressed that problem by allowing end users to modify functions and create versions for specific customers without waiting for outside programmers.

A second example, Advanced International Services, uses PACK-EASY© from Houston and Lima, Peru, while customers worldwide access shipment information by purchase order and line item.

Looking ahead, Worldwide Software Systems continues evaluating AI capabilities while keeping the EASY© systems current with new computing developments.
